How we clear the topsoil, use the underlying sand and then restore the topsoil and rehabilitate the land.

1. Topsoil is stockpiled
2. Bulldozer seperates topsoil and subsoil
3. Usable material, which has been excavated, and will be screened.
4. Rehabilitated area.
5. Screening Plant.

It can be seen that the rehabilitated area is at a lower level than the area to be mined.

All topsoil is preserved for future use in rehabilitation of the land.
